Relaible as the sun and delivers the speed promised Reviewer: robertcole Clinton,Hinds,MS 03-21-2007 If you want reliable business class service, you need to call WorldCom. Network Telephone janked me around for over four (yep, you read it right -- 4 MONTHS!) and never got the DSL line hooked up. I called WorldCom and they tested the signal the next day... on day 2 (Yep, 2 DAYS) they had that puppy downloading at 1mb/sec. The only problem I've had since was a loss of email for one day while their mail server was switched over to CriticalPath (outsource company). It was worth the wait as it has web/pop3 account access. I have not had any other problems at all to date. I've had my account (1mb/512k) since January 2001 and have tested the download speeds at least twice a month and they always deliver right on the money. The only two points I do not like are no news server (at least to my knowledge) and no dial up connection. However, I would like to say that a dial up is really unecessary since they system is so relaible... it would also be disappointing since I'm spoiled on the speed too. Wireless is great when the copper wire boys start digging in the neighborhood and DSL chokes out. I've tried several other broadband providers in the area and the service provide by WorldCom has not been matched. The other perks provide with the account are up to 20 STATIC IP addresses, 50 email addresses and 10 mb web hosting space. If you need good business broadband service take my word that you will be a happy surfer with this connection.
No longer offer satellite Reviewer: johnalwyn 02-21-2007 Just tried to get a few more details and they responded that they unofortunately no longer offer one way satellite service. They will refer you to a German company who will sign you up.
