They have a long history of fraud,deceitful advertising
and software problems.
Their installation disc messed up my computer, and when
I called on 3 different occasions to request a refund
they put me on hold and never returned to me.
peoplepc fit my needs. Reviewer: jacktherabbit 03-17-2007 I’m on the road a lot and decided peoplepc fit my needs. Things worked fine until they somehow dropped their Dodgeville Wisconsin local access number. I have called tech support and each time they said the problem would be fixed within 24 to 48 hours. After 4 weeks and not fixed I talked to several supervisors and they told me the problem would be fixed. Still it has not been fixed plus the unavailable number remains on their auto-dialer. Peoplepc won’t even reply back to me. When I’m told something would be fixed I expect it to be followed through instead of being lied to. After some research I see their dial-up number was actually earthlinks number and not peoplepc number. I feel this is fraud for not being told the number was earthlink and misled at believing it was peoplepc. They have left a bad taste in my mouth after being a loyal customer.
