NOT YOUR GRANDFATHERS OLD PIPE:

I've finally gone and done it. After 3 years with a dial-up connection that could never get me out any faster than 28.8, despite the internet service providers 56k capabilities, because of living 7 miles..

Pros: Price, Ease of use, Stable
Cons: Speed compared to other companies

Pros: High speed Internet service, reliability and service. Did I mention high speed?
Cons: Cost might be a factor for light Internet users.
This review will focus on Charter Communications cable Internet access, but will also discuss other high speed Internet connection options. My personal broadband experience has been exclusively with Charter Broadband, starting in October 2003.

I'm sick of being lied to by the evil Charter corporation
Reviewer: Shampoo-Girl       09-14-2007
Pros: No need to dial up.
Cons: Inconsistency in connection speed. Down times. Expensive.
Alright, I know what you're thinking. The question is obvious. Why is Shampoo Girl returning to Epinions when she's supposed to be on a far away tropical beach or at the mall somewhere? Yes, I'm still officially retired from writing on Epinions but I had

a few other chartercom.com email accounts this morning. Hello. I online chatted with your high speed Internet online support around 3AM this morning. I told online support that I was unable to post messages to newsgroups using windows vista and Microsoft Mail. The tech, Noel, said that Vista and Microsoft Mail wasnt supported and that I had to contact Microsoft. I found a fix and contacted online support about 10 mins later. I told Noel that I had a fix for his other customers. He promptly disconnected the session without any warning. This was very rude. I hope your other techs are not like him.
